What do I get from my promo code?
Fin.do promo codes typically offer a free money transfer. That means you will not pay any fees when using your promo code on a particular transfer.
Sometimes, promo codes give you a discount on the transfer fee. The type of discount that applies with a promo code will be indicated when you receive the promo code.
Please note that if you are making a foreign currency transfer, exchange rates will still apply. You can see the exchange rate for your transfer before you confirm your transaction.
How much can I send?
The maximum amount you can send depends on the conditions of each specific promotion.
However, when a 3-digit number is contained in the code, that indicates the maximum amount you can transfer in order for your transfer to be free of charge.
For instance, if your promo code is EXAMPLE150, you may send up to 150 USD (or its equivalent in your local currency) in order to get the discount.
What if I want to send more?
If you try to use a promo code for a higher amount than the one allowed by your code, you will receive an error notification and your transfer will not be processed.
To send more money, you can split your transfer into several separate transactions and only use your promo code on one of them.
How do I use my promo code?
To apply your promo code, enter it on the Send Money screen.
For the time being, you can only use promo codes for transfers made via the Fin.do mobile app.
Other promo code conditions
First transfer free
If the promotion indicates ‘first transfer free’, then your promo code only applies to your first successful transaction with Fin.do.
If you are new to Fin.do and your first transfer fails, you may use your promo code on a new transaction. The promo code only applies if your transfer is processed successfully.
Invite a friend
Customers can invite others to Fin.do and share a free transfer code with them.
This promo code (Share free transfer) only applies to first time users who make a transaction of up to $150 (or its equivalent in a local currency).
You can invite as many people as you want to Fin.do and their first transfer will be free if they use your invite code.
Can I use a promo code more than once?
Promo codes can only be used once, by the owner of the code. If you qualify for a free transfer but your transaction fails, you can use your code again until your transfer is successful.
Promo codes can only be used once per account, even if you have more than one card in your account.
Where can I use my promo code?
Unless otherwise specified, you can use a promo code to send money between your own cards or to others. Also, promo codes apply to both local (same-currency) and international (FX) transfers.
When does my promo code expire?
You can start using your promo code as soon as you’ve received it.
You may receive a promo code from a contact using Fin.do, or directly from Fin.do on one of our official channels (email, push notification, social media, advertising campaign).
Invite codes from other Fin.do users don’t have an expiration date, and you may use them any time you join Fin.do.
