In addition to card transfers, you can also send money from Google Pay with Fin.do. Here's everything you need to know about sending money through Google Pay.

How to add Google Pay to Fin.do

Currently, sending money from Google Pay is only possible in the Fin.do mobile app.

If you're on an Android device, Google Pay will automatically be set as the default payment method in Fin.do, with no need for you to take any action.

To switch your payment method to a card instead of Google Pay, just tap on the ‘From’ field and select a card in your Fin.do account.

If you haven’t added cards to Fin.do yet, you can easily add them now.

How to make a transfer from Google Pay

Sending money from Google Pay in Fin.do is quick and easy. Here is what you need to do:

  • Go to ‘Send money’ in your Fin.do app;

  • Enter the amount and currency you want to send;

  • Tap on the ‘To’ field to select or add a recipient. You can send money to yourself or others;

  • Press the Google Pay button to continue;

  • For security reasons, you’ll be asked to authenticate using FaceID, Touch ID, or your passcode;

  • A notification will slide out at the bottom of the screen showing the final amount you will be charged;

  • To use a different card in your Google Pay wallet, tap on the card information, or add a card if you don’t have any in your Google wallet;

  • Press your phone’s side button to proceed with the transfer. A final notification will show you the transfer fee and amount you’ll be charged;

  • Select ‘Confirm’ to proceed with the transfer or ‘Modify transfer’ if you wish to change the details of your transfer.

You can check the status of your transfer and download your transaction receipt in Transfers.

Note that transfers from Google Pay are currently only possible in our mobile app.

Google Pay will be enabled for online transfers from the Fin.do website soon!
