3D Secure is a security mechanism that requires your bank to confirm your identity in order to authorize an online payment.

If you’re having trouble with 3DS authentication (i.e. you are not receiving the verification code from your bank) when making a Fin.do transfer, here are some troubleshooting measures you should try.

1. Restart your phone to close all open applications and then try again.

2. Change your internet connection. If you’re connected to WiFi, switch to a mobile network connection instead (or vice-versa).

3. If you’re using a virtual private network (VPN) for private browsing, try turning it off.

4. If you recently changed your location and are in a different country, turn on a VPN connection and set the IP to your original country.

5. If you’re expecting the 3DS verification PIN code via SMS or email, make sure you have a stable mobile network connection. If you are abroad, make sure you have roaming enabled.

6. If you’re expecting the 3DS verification PIN code via a push notification from your mobile banking app, make sure you have your app notifications enabled. You can check the app permissions in your device settings (applications settings).

7. If you are traveling or moved abroad and are not receiving a 3DS verification code in the new country, your bank may think your card is being used fraudulently.

You can inform your bank on your travel plans using your mobile banking app. In your cards section, you may see an option called ‘Going Abroad’ - here you can specify the destination and duration of your stay so your card won't be blocked by your bank.

If you tried all of the above and are still not receiving your 3DS verification code, please reach out to your bank.
