Sending money to friends or family using their phone number is simple and doesn’t require sharing any type of financial information such as card numbers.
Sending money using a recipient's phone number is only possible for transfers made via the Fin.do mobile app.
Here’s what’s required:
Your recipient is a registered Fin.do user;
They added at least one verified card for receiving funds to their account;
You saved their phone number in your phone «Contacts» (the phone number needs to be the same one they used when creating their Fin.do account);
You enabled permissions for Fin.do to access your phone contacts list.
When all the necessary conditions are met and you have added your sending card, you can start sending money to your contact. Here’s how:
➡️ Tap on «Send money».
➡️ In the «From card» field, select the card you want to send money from.
➡️ Under «To card», tap on the «Choose recipient» field to access your contacts list.
➡️ On the list, Fin.do users will be marked with a Fin.do logo. Select a recipient from the list.
➡️ Continue by entering the amount you want to transfer. The recipient's default receiving card will be used for the transfer.
➡️ Hit «Continue» to finish your transfer.
➡️ Enter your CVV code to confirm the transfer. For security purposes, you may also be asked to enter a secure code (3DS code) sent to your phone by your issuing bank.
