Sending money to friends or family using their phone number is fast and secure — and doesn’t require sharing any financial information like card numbers.
Sending money using a recipient's phone number is only possible for transfers made via the Fin.do mobile app.
✅ What’s required:
Your recipient is a registered Fin.do user;
They added at least one verified card for receiving funds to their account;
Their phone number is saved in your Contacts (must match the number they used to register in Fin.do);
You’ve granted Fin.do permission to access your phone’s contact list
Once all the conditions are met and you’ve added a sending card, you're ready to transfer funds using their phone number.
📱 Step-by-step guide:
1. Open the app
Launch the Fin.do app on your device and log in to your account.
2. Start a new transfer
Tap the "Send Money" button on the home screen.
3. Enter the amount and currency
Specify the amount you want to send, along with the sending and receiving currencies. Final fees and estimated delivery time will be shown after you select a recipient.
4. Choose your sending card
In the "From" field, Apple Pay or Google Pay is selected by default.
You can also choose one of your cards added to the Fin.do app. Only cards valid for sending will be shown in the list.
5. Select the recipient
Tap "Choose a Recipient", then select "Send to Card" from the menu that opens.
You can also choose one of your saved recipients from the "Recent Recipients" list below on this screen.
6. Switch to the Others tab
After selecting "Send to Card", the "Myself" tab will open by default.
Tap the "Others" tab to view your saved recipients and Fin.do users.
7. Grant access to Contacts (if needed)
If you see a message saying "Find contacts on Fin.do", it means Fin.do does not yet have permission to access your contacts.
To allow access:
Tap "Allow Access" in the message box
Tap "OK" on the system prompt that appears
You can also enable this later in your phone’s settings.
8. Select a recipient
Search by name or phone number, or scroll through the list to find your contact.
Tap the recipient once you’ve found them.
9. Review the details
Double-check the recipient’s details and transfer amount. If you’re not using Apple Pay or Google Pay, you can also apply a promo code at this stage.
10. Add a note (optional)
You can include a transfer reference or a short greeting message for your recipient.
11. Finalize the transfer
If using a saved card: Tap "Continue", then enter your CVV code to confirm. For security, you may be asked to enter a 3DS secure code, sent to your phone by your bank.
If using Apple Pay or Google Pay: Tap the Apple Pay/Google Pay button.
You’ll be able to review the final fees, and still have the option to modify the transfer if needed.
If everything looks good, press "Confirm".
🎉 That’s it!
You’ll receive a confirmation, and your recipient will receive the money shortly — usually within minutes, depending on the bank and country.
You can track the transfer status in your "Transactions" list. Tap "OK" to close the confirmation screen.

Absolutely. All transfers are encrypted and processed securely. We never store your card or account details.
